How are deal sourcers verified?
We checked they have a valid compliance with either the Property Ombudsman or The Property Redress Scheme. We also checking their insurance is always valid.
What information can I see before securing a deal?
You can view detailed property photos, property features, general location (town, county and area code), and comprehensive financial breakdowns including purchase price, development costs, potential resale value, expected return %, and all associated fees.
What happens after I secure a deal?
Once you secure a deal by paying the sourcer's fee, you immediately receive the full property address and exclusive rights to purchase the property after being introduced to the seller/estate agent. The actual purchase is then conducted through the traditional process with solicitors, outside of PropertyOp.
What if something goes wrong with my deal?
If you encounter any issues with your deal within 14 days, you can raise a dispute from the "Transactions" page within your account settings. Our team will investigate for a quick and fair resolution. Our goal is to protect both the buyer and deal sourcer.
Does PropertyOp handle the property purchase?
No, PropertyOp only facilitates the transaction between the deal sourcer and the buyer. The property purchase is completed outside of PropertyOp through the traditional process with solicitors, just as with any conventional property transaction.
